We aim to maintain and promote Karen culture within Australia's multicultural community. Our branches encourage young people to learn traditional Karen music and dance, and to be proud of their cultural identity.
The Don dance and the bamboo dance are the best-known Karen dances, and we hold lessons in the Karen harp, a traditional instrument, from time to time. Our performances at Karen and multicultural events help celebrate multiculturalism in Australia.
