On 29 March 2017, members of the Australian Karen Organisation's Victorian branch were invited to take part in Global Pathway, an event at Trinity College. We showed primary school students traditional Karen performances and instruments, and shared what daily life is like in Karen State. Around 248 students and teachers visited our stall, and many were surprised by what they learnt.
Students and teachers joined in the dancing and drumming. At the end of the day, the workshop organiser told us that most students had greatly enjoyed the displays and performances.
